SISSA sends an announcement to all the students when an Italian course is organized by some Trieste-based institution. Italian courses are also held at the ICTP and are open to scientists from all the scientific institutions in the city. Non-ICTP members have to pay a small fee.
There are regional non-profit organizations like IAL where one can easily find Italian courses throughout the year. The address is Via Pondares 5.
One can also follow courses at the Università Popolare that is located in Piazza Del Ponterosso n.6. For these you have to pay a fair amount (around 120-130 euros for per course.)
Italian courses are also organized by SISSA, an announcement is made by central administration when the courses start.
