Let's start with a simple statement: Italian taxes are something you should avoid to mess with as long as you are alive.

Each and every year before the end of February SISSA will provide you with a filled CUD model that is a model that will show how much SISSA has paid you during the previous year and how many taxes the school has paid for you in the same period. Hence all the incomes you'll get from SISSA are already "taxed" as SISSA paid taxes for you. If your sole income came from SISSA you'll have only to get it, sign the receipt, and forget about. If this is not true that you'll have to fill an income declaration. As this procedure is far more complicated than the quest for a renormalizable theory of quantum gravity we strongly advice you to ask for help to one of the centri di assistenza fiscale in Trieste. These offices are usually run by workers' unions and have a special status that enable them to completely handle your file with the Ministry.
