The art. 13 of the new Regulations of the SISSA Philosophiae Doctor courses regards the external activities of SISSA PhD students:
1. Gli allievi dei Corsi di Ph.D. possono svolgere, quale parte integrante del progetto formativo, attività didattica integrativa e di tutorato rivolta agli studenti dei corsi di laurea e dei corsi di laurea magistrale di altre Università Italiane. Tale attività è soggetta a preventivo nulla-osta del Collegio dei Docenti, sulla base della compatibilità con l’ordinaria attività di ricerca e deve essere comunque contenuta nel limite di 40 ore per ciascun anno accademico.
2. Il Collegio dei Docenti, può autorizzare il dottorando a svolgere attività retribuite che consentono di acquisire competenze concernenti l’ambito formativo del dottorato, previa valutazione della compatibilità delle medesime attività con il proficuo svolgimento delle attività formative, didattiche e di ricerca del corso di Ph.D. Il limite massimo della retribuzione aggiuntiva non può comunque superare l'importo della borsa medesima.
3. Sulla base di specifici accordi con le imprese approvati dagli organi competenti, gli allievi di un Corso di Ph.D. possono altresì svolgere tirocini aziendali, previa autorizzazione del supervisore e del Coordinatore del Corso.

1) You have to ask the opinion of your Ph.D. Supervisor;
2) If he/she agrees, you have to send a communication to the Students' Secretariat (through this form). Your request will be discussed to the Ph.D. Teaching Board meeting (Collegio docenti);
3) If the Teaching Board will confirm, you will receive an official clearance, "nulla osta", from the Students' Secretariat.
