EU citizens
EU students must be selected by means of an entrance examination held personally at SISSA. Entrance exams are based on a written and/or oral examination evaluated together with the academic and scientific qualifications presented by each candidate, and at least one letter of reference. Usually there are one or two selection exams per year: Spring or Spring/Summer. Here you can find announcements and the link to the online procedure to participate in the entrance exams and the Important Dates to have in mind when submitting your application.
Non-EU citizens
Non EU candidates can either present the entrance exam personally in Trieste or can apply through the preselection admission procedure (see Preselection Application for Non European Candidates).
